Nari & Milani has been polishing themselves in Milan’s Hollywood, Riccione’s Price or Rome’s Vogue and entered the dance music scene in 1996. The Italian duo are now seen as the veteran and idolised stars leading the scene. They produce official remixes of Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke or Axwell on the side of their main work to produce a world that only Nari & Milani can. “How We Do It” with Tony Romero and “Camino Del Sol” with Hiisak are their recent hit tracks and such veterans have just released another track of their own.

Q1. Congratulations on your "I Am Alright" release. Can you tell us more about it?

Our new single ‘I Am Alright’ takes you to dizzying heights and, by three-quarters of the way in, it is just time to sit back and get lost as the song descends into sublime chaos. It becomes a beautiful vocal piece with slight electro undertones. There are unexpected drops in his interludes between melodies and also lightens things up again, with more playful progressive synthesizers. It is simply perfect for a spring afternoon.

Q2. How is your 2017 so far?

Very good!!!

We recently made several sounds more underground, progressive house. It’s a good time to be making game changing music, and we believe that testing is always the right way. The music market is moving fast, you only need to follow the inspiration and create something new.  From a creative prospect, there has never been a better time toexperiment and do something different. That probably sounds weird
given the vast saturation of sound we have had more recently, but we see talented people being handed the platform they deserve finally –both in context of ‘mainstream’ and ‘underground’ music. Truth is, all these things like ‘EDM’ and ‘Underground’ strike me as ways people try to simplify something that is so broad and ever
expanding that there really is no snack term suitable. It’s a good time to be making game changing music.   We also recently created our Label Woof, which has as a mission to spread good music, discover and promote new talents, helping them to never stop chasing their own dreams. Woof Records is a new trend, a movement.

Q3. Which track would be your favourite from your work and what inspired you to produce that track?

For us, “Atom” was a statement to say that raw grooves can make huge impact. We wanted that track to sound like the end of the world and it  seems to be a favorite amongst DJs across the globe. We treated this one like it was the soundtrack of a Tarantino film and are very proud of the reaction.

Atom for us is and always will be the track that made us realize that music is the answer, that music is our life. Atom has changed our lives: we will never stop thanking God for this.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

1 swedish house mafia : don't you worry child. For us it is a hymn, a masterpiece. It is amazing the energy it transmits when we play this track. We love swedish house mafia ... for us they are immortal.

2 ATOM

When we play atom ... it seems that time stops. The crowd is kidnapped by the sound .... we love the effect that Atom does on the crowd even after 5 years ... it's AMAZING!

Q5. What would Japanese fans be surprised to learn about you?

Maybe our lives would be different if we were not DJ’s: I (Maurizio) would perhaps become a lawyer, Ronnie would have worked in radio. But one day we met in a radio and music it has become our life.  WE ARE NOW LIKE BROTHERS, WE HAVE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS, BUT THIS IS OUR STRENGTH. IF ONE DAY WE HAVE NO INSPIRATION, DO NOT WE GO IN THE STUDIO ...but to Japanese restaurant! we love japanese food!!!!

Q6. What are your plans for the Summer?

WE WILL BE AROUND EUROPE MANY SURPRISES ARE COMING... OUR PARTY WOOF,and of course new music for you!!! Stay tuned!!!

Q7. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Thanks guys for your love and support. You're our strength! BELIEVE YOUR DREAMS, NEVER GIVE UP !!!!

Please help us decide on Nari & Milani’s No.1 hit track because we cannot…  Their releases from Yellow Production, Juicy Music or Size Records have continued to excite not only their fans but also people involved in the scene. 2011 was “KENDO”, 2012 was “Atom” and many other tracks have led to receiving support from the top DJ/Producers such as Tiesto, Steve Angello, Axwell and many more. Stay tuned to the veteran NAri & Milani continuing to lead the scene with their extraordinary music that they produce.
