Hasse De Moor is a Dutch new comer in the scene who produces energetic House music to the crowd and is one of the young elites under the spotlight from Spinnin’ Records. Since he signed an exclusive contract with Spinnin’ Records last September, he promised to produce exciting music to the world and he released his first single at Spinnin’ Records last December. Stay tuned to reach out to another Dutch figure joining the scene with us.

Q1. We heard your new track “WORK” is stored on 9th of December. Can you tell us more about your new track?

It's my first single release on Spinnin'. GLD and I actually know each other from Twitter. We tweeted out each other songs like two years ago and we've been working together ever since. They're really laidback guys, but super talented and there was never any pressure to finish stuff or anything. That was very chill.

The idea for “Work” came from us brainstorming about making a club track together. The original idea was actually at 150 BPM, then we went into 105 BPM, but we ended up just making the full song 128. We went back and forth with stems a lot; they did a lot of the synth work and I did a lot of the drum work. Then Jake added the vocal to it and it fit perfectly! From there I finished and mixed down the song and our baby was born!

Q2. How did you decide to do collaboration with GLD, and how was it?

I was on FaceTime with them most of the time when we were working on the song. I always prefer working with people on the song together instead of separately, but since Mattie and Jake live 5,000 miles away from me, FaceTime was the closest thing to working together in the studio. The inspiration behind it was really just GLD and I wanting to make something we thought was dope.

Q3. When did you decide to start producing music and what/who inspired you?

I started when I was around 14, people like skrillex and diplo were and still are huge inspirations for me. back then I also took a lot of inspiration from the legend Munchi.

Q4. Since DJ Mag started to vote "Top 100 Clubs", I want to ask you what are your favorite clubs and why?

Definitely Bootshaus in Cologne is one of my favorites, amazing energy there!

Also NFF Club in Bremen, crazy crowd, great hospitality and very nice vibes!

Q5. Where do you see yourself in a few years from now?

I hope producing for big rappers and popstars! Coming years I def want to stick with touring and making EDM but eventually I want to resort to just producing music for artists.

Q6. How was this year? What was the best experience of 2016?

This year was so dope! My best experience was definitely signing with Spinnin' Records and flying to LA to do some studio work.

Q7. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?

I think it's a great platform for DJ's and Producers to get some spotlight, I always like the articles about new songs cause I love listening and hearing about new music!

Q8. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I love you guys!!! Really hope to come to Japan soon and come party with you!!
