We are glad to be able to create an environment where we, DJ Mag Japan can announce the launch of "DJ MAG TOP 100 CLUBS" here in Japan. The DJ Mag headquarter based in UK, hosts "TOP 100 CLUBS" every year ranking the clubs all around the globe, not by their past events or their experiences throughout the year but more importantly it's voted by the fans and listeners. For a club to be able to get into the Top 100 ranking and be awarded for it, it's an honour and a lot of respect is earned. The top clubs like Ibiza Space and Green Valley have remained their rankings in staying at the top and also, Octagon from our neighboring country South Korea was 5th and Womb from Japan was ranked 55th. The ranking is said to be the most influential and appropriate ranking which could be used as the "club guide" by the fans and see, which clubs are hot now. In order for Japanese clubs to slide into the "TOP 100 CLUBS", DJ Mag Japan would like to present the hottest clubs now in the scene here in Japan.
Riviera Sapporo
Riviera Sapporo is the hottest club in Hokkaido and once you step into the club, you’ll no longer be freezing with the cold snowing weather. It’s a club produced by alife Sapporo with a unique motto of “more comfortable, more fun, more casual” attracting more clubbers than ever in Sapporo. It is located only 5 minutes’ walk from Susukino Station (Namboku line, subway), which is the centre and with the interior design that reminds you of a resort, decent food menu as well, Riviera Sapporo continues to entertain more and more people every week. The venue is not only used for club events but also for other purposes such as ‘after parties of enterprises and it is flexible meeting the needs of the people.

ELE TOKYO
Since its open on August 2014, with the luxurious, urban style dancefloor, ELE TOKYO has been a leading figure in the scene. The interior concept is unified with the colours of gold and silver, creating luxurious mood and the installation of highly pitched LED screens and projection mapping attracts VIP and celebrities. By all means, receiving support from such people other than the big crowd itself. Not to mention, Lady Gaga did her official after party here at ELE TOKYO and it is also going global.

V² Tokyo
The name V² is originated from “V x V= VERTEX x VERTEX”, implying to reach the highest point possible in the scene. Their motto is to “take Tokyo to the VERTEX by receiving support from celebrities within and outside of Japan” starting from Roppongi. They are based on the 13th floor with 360 degrees’ view of Roppongi and makes the crowd feel like they are at the VERTEX of Tokyo. They continue to bring excitement and joy to the table for all the fans and clubbers to have an incredible time.

WOMB
Womb, based in Shibuya, Tokyo was the only Japanese club that managed to slide into last year’s DJ MAG TOP 100 CLUBS. “WORLD WIDE” is said to be their motto and perspective trying to project the Tokyo culture through music scenes and to expand their networks. They not only provide the club culture to Japanese and foreign fans but they also send their resident DJs abroad for gigs and similarly, did an event “WOMB TOKYO NIGHT” in Space Ibiza and fabric in London. They live by their motto and they are expanding bigger and bigger, soon to be found worldwide.

CLUB Camelot
Since its open in 1995, Club Camelot has had the biggest capacity in Shibuya and constantly makes the crowd go wild every weekend with their installation of newest LED screens and sound systems. When it comes to the weekend, 1,500 people come and the club gets packed as ever. The club itself has 2 levels and have separate rooms with different genres for the fans. Main floor is EDM, sub floor is Hip-Hop and R&B, the other lounge room delivers House.

ageHa constantly upgrades their LED screen and lighting, sound systems and continues to provide the night of their lives to the fans. It is recognized by a lot of foreign people as variety of DJs have done shows here at ageHa. They have recorded over 200,000 visitors yearly and the number continues to grow. Since a lot of people come and have the night of their lives here at ageHa, their fans started to call it “adult’s wonderland”. They continue to create better entertainment regardless of culture or race and deliver a better wonderland to the fans.

ORCA NAGOYA is based at the centre of “Sakae area” and is located at 11th and 12th floor of the so-called landmark tower, “Sakae nanairo”. ORCA NAGOYA raises the standards of nightlife in the region and they are not stopping anytime soon.

GIRAFFE Osaka is located at the best possible place, where it gets crowded throughout the day/night. CLUB CAT'S FUKUOKA
CAT’S FUKUOKA has managed to be one of most popular clubs not only in Fukuoka but whole of West Japan. Regardless of the days, all 3 floors are packed and plays genres starting from EDM, R&B, Reggae, Hip-Hop and more. They also have the top class resident DJs from Japan making sure the crowd goes wild and keeps the club packed at all times. Last November, Quintino came for a show, last December, VINAI came for a show. Other than such big players, DJ BABY BOSS, DJ SPIKE aka KURIBO, DJ KAZUMA, Qwerty, DJ KO-TA, DJ FATBEAT, DJ STAN, DJ GONZ, DJ ZIEZIE support CAT’S FUKUOKA to be a bigger club.
