Check out below for the exclusive interview.

Q1. Can you tell us more about "No Explanations" EP series?

I just released my new EP - 'No Explanations Pt1' with 3 tracks on there one feat Lyre called RU Feeling it, the second track is called Illusion (with me singing for the first time ever on a track) and the 3rd track is called Getaway feat Blake Rose a talented young man from Australia, there is also a part 2 following feb 10th as part of this series. It's a new direction for me as a producer and so far the feedback has been amazing, I wanted to do the EP as i felt it was a better way to introduce my new musical direction rather than just releasing a single track.

Q2. How was 2016? Any specific experiences you'd like to highlight?

2016 was good, musically the EP for me has been my highlight, show wise I have been doing a fair bit in Asia which has been unreal. The scene here is really taking off. I have been playing a lot of the Storm festivals in China also which has been dope.

Q3. Where do you get the inspiration from when producing music?

I take little bits of inspiration from all different sources, but DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers and Major Lazer gave me the confidence to make a move more in the pop direction.

Q4. What do you personally consider to be the most important moments in your artistic career so far?

I have had a fair few pinch me moments in my career so far, including one very recently where I heard my new song 'Illusion' with me singing being played on Radio 1.
That was major goals right there. A big moment for me.

Q5. Since DJ Mag started to vote "Top 100 Clubs", I want to ask you what are your favorite clubs and why?

It's hard to choose an overall favorite but in Australia it's Family in Brisbane, as they were the first major club there to support me and the one in Oz I enjoyed playing the most.

In the US I love The Mid in Chicago as it's a real music club and you can really let loose and do your thing. New City Gas, Montreal Canada is a crazy club.

Q6. You've performed in Osaka recently, how was it?

It was amazing! The crowd was really into it and the club was really cool, great LED's, sound and an overall good vibe, i'm looking forward to the next gig already!

Q7. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising moment?

Japan has major vibes, for me it feels like the New York of Asia, especially Tokyo the cities are advanced and on point and i love the fashion and the style in the cities.
The food also is incredible, one of my favorite places to come.

Q8. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I hope you guys are able to check out my new EP and I hope you all like it. And I hope I am able to come and play for you all a lot more in the future! Big love Japan!
