Q1. We heard your new track “Don't Give Up” is stored on 18th of November. Can you tell us more about your new track?

I'm really excited about my new song "Don't Give Up" which features Lissie. We've made a lot of music together and I'm really proud of this track. It's progressive vocal house with a folk influence.

Q2. What was the best experience of summer 2016?

My Asia tour was definitely a highlight - playing Vietnam for the first time was amazing. it's great to see a scene so new and hungry for electronic music.

Q3. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?

My biggest influence is probably a mix of various singer-songwriters, and Daft Punk. I like fusing together two different sounds that can complement each other well.

Q4. What do you personally consider to be the most important moments in your artistic career?

It's always hard to narrow down one, but playing Coachella and getting nominated for a GRAMMY were big moments for me.

Q5. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

My first impression of Japan is how warm and gracious everyone is, and I love all the amazing Japanese food. Seeing Kyoto in the fall is really beautiful, and I love exploring Tokyo's different areas and restaurants.

Q6. What do you have coming up next tour, new track… etc?

Next up is touring more across North America to wrap up 2016, and promoting my new single "Don't Give Up." Lots more music is on the way - excited to be working with Armada music for the first time.

Q7. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?

DJ Mag is a great resource for finding out more about your favorite DJs.. I love reading the section of the poll where DJs talk about what software, hardware, or travel accessories they can't live without.

Q8. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

To all my Japanese fans - thank you for supporting me! I will hopefully be back to play Ultra again and maybe some of the local clubs. Looking forward to seeing your amazing country again.
