Q1. Though we know you have spun at ELE Tokyo, what is your first impression of Japan?

- Yes, Ele Tokyo was my debut show in Japan! Since then, I've played in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo again! My first impression was amazing - I felt very welcome and there is so much respect around! I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Arigato :)

Q2. We often feel that you like Japan. Is there anything you feel related to Japan? If so, why is that?

- I was always very interested about Japanese culture, and Japan as a place to be! I even have a tattoo in kanji saying "ongaku" on my forearm! I'm also a huge fan of Pokemon!

Q3. As well-known international DJ and producer, I wonder what made you decide to become a music producer especially in electronic in the beginning. What was your motive?

- I fell in love with music when I was a teenager - in the beginning I was a huge fan of rock music and played on the electric guitar in a band with my friends! But then, I discovered music from people like Justice, Deadmau5 and Daft Punk... I was really curious about how it all works, so I started to learn how to DJ, but it wasn't enough - I wanted to play my stuff too, so I found this software called FL Studio around 6 years ago... And that's how it all began for me!

Q4. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?

When it comes to DJing, my main influence is definitely Laidback Luke! I have never seen him playing the same set - he just spins the first record and everything after is the matter of how crowd goes along with him! I love to watch him play everytime I get a chance to. And as for music production, besides aforementioned Daft Punk and Deadmau5, I'm a big fan of Porter Robinson too! He really switched his sound for Language and did it again later for Worlds - both were great pieces of music and a proof that sometimes a risk, push into unknown is a gamechanger. Mad respect.

Q5. What is DJMag to you as a DJ/producer?

- Despite what some people say, it's definitely a very important thing for me! Getting a higher spot this year would mean for me the new opportunities to work with the very best people in the scene and a by using the newly found resources, a possibility to grow as an artist and even take my shows to the next level!
