A DJ/Producer representative of Moldova, Max Vangeli is one of the stars in the current dance music scene. In 2011, MTV announced the talent as “destined to be one of the most promising artists of the year 2011”, which also happened to be a big year. His debut album was supported by the legends Tiesto, Steve Angello and the list could go on…The collaboration with Steve Angello’s younger brother AN21 “People Of The Night” was a huge success and he shocked the scene.
Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.
Timmy and I have been friends for many years! We have just been so busy touring and finally got around to doing a collab. Timmy is one the coolest dudes in the game, we need more people like him around EDM. I think the track is a great balance of our sound!
Q2. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released in the last months?
I think it has everything needed for an emotional explosion on the dance floors. The breakdown is sexy and the drop is even sexier! Its all about good balance, a lot fo guys miss the point in records and sort of get it half way there. In this case I think we found a perfect blend. Its just a cool record to play!
Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?
Honestly I still play Blow This Club and now we have Booty Shake. These sort of records just always work! I love playing my music especially when it kills on the dance floor! Its definitely my sound moving forward.
Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?
Well the thing is Japanese food has ALWAYS been my favorite! BUT I had no idea how much better it is in Japan!!! The Sushi was UNREAL!!! But also the people in general are just amazing. I was so happy to see all my fans there! I can’t wait to be back! Love you guys!
Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?
You guys should check out my side project “Galactic Marvl” that is all I will say for now! But as far as Max Vangeli stuff, LOTS and LOTS of collaborations coming!

Max Vangeli just happens to be hit maker…His past records have been huge hits and constantly creating a buzz in the scene. And in 2016, he launched his original label NoFace Records to push more music out to the world not only for his fans but for the scene.
